CCA Plastics was started in 1949 by Charles Cyril Allan. Allan manufactured Spitfire windscreens during the Second World War in the UK. He moved to Pietermaritzburg after the war and used his experience and knowledge to start CCA.
In the sixties CCA introduced Vacuum Forming to their processes and in the nineties introduced robots for finishing, being one of the first in the plastics industry to do so. CCA Plastics is a plastic product manufacturing company using the thermoforming (vacuum forming) process. The product range includes proprietary and bespoke products in the Commercial vehicle, Train refurbishment, Medical, Catering, Packaging and Point of Sale industries.
CCA uses a focused market approach to offer its clients maximum service in their industries.
